CNEWS KABUL: A big bomb blast in Afghanistan’’s capital of Kabul has hit a district, which houses many foreign embassies and companies, witnesses say. There have been no reports of casualties yet. The explosion happened Saturday morning around 0550 GMT and was followed by the sound of sirens as security forces rushed to the scene. Local television channel reported that the bomb exploded in the Wazir Akbar Khan area, where many foreign embassies and companies are located. The TV footage showed a shop front, which had collapsed, and rubble scattered across a busy street.
